Synthetic Turf Carpet Production

Synthetic Turf Carpet Production

Also called artificial turf, this carpet, which gets its name from its grass-like appearance, is highly preferred due to its durability and usability in many areas. This carpet, frequently preferred for sporting, decorative, or landscaping purposes, is meticulously and carefully prepared in special machines. These carpets, cut to size and shape by computerized cutting machines, can remain in the same color and texture for many years thanks to special additives. The carpet is formed by weaving monofilament yarns, which are inflexible but have a durable and rigid structure in green color, cut to specific lengths, by spreading a special backing fabric on the bottom layer. Synthetic turf carpet becomes long-lasting in its final stage thanks to latex coating. This also ensures the carpet is firmly attached to the fabric.

Production of Durable Artificial Turf Carpet

Artificial turf is produced by cutting durable synthetic yarns into desired dimensions and shapes using special computerized tools. After the latex coating of the artificial turf is completed, it is placed in special large ovens to dry. The carpet, baked for a specified period, is removed, and its production phase is complete for use in the desired location and size. These carpets are preferred for their wide range of applications, durability, and ease of maintenance. Individuals prefer them because their maintenance is easier and cheaper compared to natural grass, they are long-lasting, and their color never fades.
